Wizz Air Skopje Marathon is the most popular and the most famous and also the largest scale unrivaled sporting event in Republic of Macedonia.
On 8 May 2016 will be held the 12th edition, the program has 4 races, marathon (42.195km), half marathon (21.097km), the race of 5km and marathon relay (4 x 10 km) with pending around 8000 runners in all races.
Wizz Air Skopje Marathon is in the stock company of the world's largest marathons, and since 2008 has been certified by the Association for marathons and street races (AIMS).
Organizer of Wizz Air Skopje Marathon is Sports Association of Skopje and the main sponsor is the City of Skopje with the mission of the European Union and the Agency for Youth and Sports of the Republic of Macedonia.
